Gobi Desert and Khuvsgul Lake Adventure Tour

This morning, following breakfast at the hotel, our guide and driver will meet you at your accommodation for the journey to Tsagaan Suvarga in Dundgovi province. The impressive east-facing cliff resembles the ruins of an ancient city when viewed from afar, making it a captivating sight.

Tsagaan Suvraga features striking 90-degree cliffs with a diverse array of colorful clay deposits.

This morning, we will drive to Yol Valley, also known as Vulture Canyon. This stunning deep canyon features numerous rocky cliffs shaped by years of water erosion.

Once we arrive at the canyon, we will enjoy a two-hour hike, where we will have the chance to observe remnants of a glacier from the winter months.

As part of our experience, we can stop by the local Natural History Museum either on our way in or out of the park. The museum showcases fascinating exhibits, including dinosaur eggs and bones, petrified trees, and a snow leopard.

Khongor Sand Dune is one of the largest and most stunning dunes in Mongolia, rising up to 200 meters high, stretching 7-8 km wide, and extending 180 km in length. The experience of climbing these dunes is truly breathtaking, offering more than just a spectacular view from the top.

Climbers are often enchanted by the unique phenomenon of the dunes producing a melodic sound as they ascend, which is why they are often referred to as the “singing dunes”.

Visiting this magnificent location provides a sense of extraordinary comfort and boundless tranquility. Once we arrive, we will take on a camel ride along the Khongor dunes. The two-humped Bactrian camels are exceptionally comfortable to ride, moving at a gentle pace. You will find yourself well-supported by their humps, sitting cozily between them.

This morning, we will journey to the Bayanzag region, famously known as the "Flaming Cliffs" and often referred to as the "Cradle of Dinosaurs." It was here that the world's first discovered nest of dinosaur eggs was unearthed in 1922. We will take the time to explore this remarkable area.

Following our exploration, we will proceed to the Ongi Monastery, which was established in the late 18th century to honor the first visit of a Dalai Lama to Mongolia.

Today, we will take a journey to Orkhon Valley, recognized as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site since 2005. This region is home to numerous ancient monuments of Mongolia.

The Orkhon Waterfall, known locally as Ulaan Tsutgalan, was created approximately 20,000 years ago from a series of volcanic eruptions.The waterfall plunges from a height of 22 meters and spans 10 meters in width.

While we are here, we will have the opportunity to visit a nomadic family and enjoy an hour of horse riding.

today we will travel to Tsenkher to enjoy a soothing soak in the hot springs.

Afterwards, we can stroll through the nearby steppes, with various independent trekking options available based on your fitness level.

Following breakfast, we will head to Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur, passing through Tsetserleg.

Our first stop will be the dormant crater of the Khorgo volcano, which erupted with molten lava approximately 7,000 years ago.

Afterward, we will continue our journey to Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake, a body of water created when the lava from the Khorgo volcano obstructed the Suman River, carving a large gorge through the basalt landscape.

On this day we will take a journey to Shine-Ider province through undulating steppes adorned with vibrant spring and early summer wildflowers. Zuun Nuur is a picturesque saltwater lake that serves as a sanctuary for numerous bird species.

Following our visit to the lake, we will travel approximately 10 km to arrive at our campsite.

Today, we will take a journey to Khuvsgul Lake, the deepest and most pristine lake in Central Asia. This oval-shaped lake stretches from north to south and holds the title of the second-largest freshwater lake in the world, following Lake Baikal.

Today is your chance to immerse yourself in the stunning landscape.

Hike through breathtaking views of mountains, valleys, and lakes, and you might even meet the Reindeer herders of the Darkhad Tribe, who uphold their ancient traditions.

If you prefer horseback riding, there are options to explore the vast steppes like the local nomads. Capture the beauty of the region with your camera, whether it's the landscapes, wildlife, or indigenous culture.

For a more relaxed experience, enjoy a boat trip on a nearby lake, soaking in the tranquility and natural beauty. This day offers a perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, and cultural immersion.

Today, we will journey to the breathtaking region of dormant volcanoes adorned with coniferous forests.

This ancient volcano boasts stunning red rock formations and is enveloped by lush coniferous trees and vibrant wildflowers.

You will have the chance to hike on the volcano!

Take a road trip to Amarbayasgalant, one of the largest monasteries in Mongolia, constructed between 1727 and 1736. The journey takes you through the scenic southern routes of Siberia.

Nestled in the stunning Iven Gol River Valley at the base of Burenkhan Mountain, the monastery boasts remarkable artwork and intricate decorations. Its impressive architectural design makes it one of the most awe-inspiring monasteries in Asia.

Following breakfast, we will head back to Ulaanbaatar city. We will stop for lunch at a local café restaurant along the way.

Upon our arrival in town, there will be an opportunity for shopping if you are interested. Later, at 6 pm, we will enjoy a traditional Mongolian folk concert, which will last for one hour.

Afterward, we will have a farewell dinner before transferring to the hotel.

This morning, we will take you to the airport for your departure.
