This tour offers you the chance to ascend two renowned peaks in Kyrgyzstan: Teachers Peak at 4530 m and Yukhin Peak at 5130 m. Special climbing gear or extensive mountaineering skills are not required. Teachers Peak is situated in Ala-Archa National Park, close to Kyrgyzstan's capital, Bishkek. The entire route involves traversing scree and snow. Teacher Peak and Yukhin Peak are part of the Trans-Alai Range, located on the northern slopes of Lenin Peak. From the summit, you'll be treated to stunning views of the North Wall of Lenin Peak (7134 m) and the Alai Valley.
The initial segment of the trek takes us through the scenic foothills of the Pamirs, specifically the Kozho-Kelen gorge and the Alai Valley. This portion will help us acclimatize for the more demanding second part, where we will ascend to elevations of up to 5,130 meters at Yukhin Peak, located near the impressive Lenin Peak—a breathtaking sight and a renowned destination for climbers from around the globe!Â
