Some landscapes don’t look real at first — like someone carved them on purpose. In Bohemian Paradise, a UNESCO Global Geopark, narrow paths wind between tall sandstone towers, castles rise above the trees, and the view keeps shifting with every turn.
From Prague, you head to Turnov and walk towards Valdštejn Castle, the oldest in the region, then continue through rock viewpoints and forest trails shaped over millions of years. Along the way, there’s space to pause — for wide views, quiet moments, even optional yoga. The route leads to Hrubá Skála, where you stop for a late lunch surrounded by the same dramatic landscape.
Everything is simple and well planned — transport, route, timing. You just follow the day and enjoy the walk. Join us and see this magnificent part of Czechia up clos!

Lenka Lorien is the founder of platform dedicated to authentic hiking experiences and conscious travel in nature. As a certified tourist guide, yoga teacher, and trauma therapist, she brings a unique, holistic approach that connects outdoor movement with inner awareness and wellbeing.
Originally trained in fine arts in Prague, Lenka developed a strong sensitivity to atmosphere and environment, which today shapes the way she designs her tours. Her journeys focus not only on destinations, but on the quality of experience—inviting participants to slow down, perceive more deeply, and connect with nature in a meaningful way.
Her connection to travel began early through her family background in tourism, and later expanded during more than ten years living in England. This international experience allows her to work naturally with both Czech and global clients.
Alongside guiding, Lenka works as a trauma therapist through her project Healing Trauma, where she supports individuals in processing stress and reconnecting with inner balance. This therapeutic background influences her work with groups, creating a safe, grounded, and supportive environment.
A significant part of her journey is her long-term connection to India and Ayurveda. Through her project, she organizes and leads Ayurvedic retreats, including traditional Panchakarma programs. These experiences have deepened her understanding of the connection between body, mind, and environment.
For Lenka, nature is a space for regeneration, clarity, and reconnection. Her tours often include subtle elements such as mindful walking or moments of stillness, always adapted naturally to the group.
By combining her experience in art, therapy, yoga, and Ayurveda, Lenka creates journeys that are both grounding and enriching. Through her projects, she invites people to experience not just hiking, but a deeper connection to nature and themselves.

Explore with us the breathtaking Bohemian Paradise UNESCO Geopark, one of the most visited places in the Czech Republic. In just an hour‘s drive from Prague, you can revel in a true archeological, geological, and cultural gem. It’s time to discover why this fairytale Bohemian Paradise area has attracted writers, painters, artists and dreamers of all kinds. You too can enjoy strolling past romantic ponds, admiring extensive rock towns and waking in the countryside panoramic views of this region which is known in Czech as Český ráj, and was created as the first nature reserve in 1955 and later enlarged in 2002. This protected landscape area lies about 90 kilometers north-east of Prague and today has become one of the most popular tourist destinations in Czechia.
Formed during the Mesozoic Era from sediments along an ancient sea, the Prachovské Rocks reveal a landscape of stone stairways and dramatic viewpoints that easily spark a sense of quiet adventure. Nearby, another striking “rock town” — Hrubá Skála — stretches between Valdštejn Castle, the oldest in Bohemian Paradise, and the elegant Hrubá Skála chateau, with the Bukovina arboretum set in between.
You can also visit the ruins of Drábské světničky, perched above the Jizera River valley, offering wide views over the surrounding lowlands. Other sandstone areas worth exploring include the Klokočské and Betlémské Rocks, the labyrinth-like Besedické Rocks, and the rugged Suché Rocks, often called the Bohemian Dolomites. A scenic path near the timbered farmhouse Kopicův statek leads through a valley where stone reliefs depict scenes and figures from Czech history.
