Glass catches the light long before you understand how it’s made — clear, sharp, almost alive. This day takes you closer, from quiet river paths to the heat and rhythm of a real workshop.
You travel from Prague to Nižbor, walk along the Berounka through calm forest landscapes, then step inside a working glass factory. Here, molten glass is shaped by hand, cut, checked, finished — every stage visible. There’s time for a proper Czech lunch and, if you wish, even to try glassblowing yourself.
The day flows easily: train, short hike, guided visit. No rush, just a well-paced route with space to enjoy. Come along and see how craft and landscape meet!

Lenka Lorien is the founder of platform dedicated to authentic hiking experiences and conscious travel in nature. As a certified tourist guide, yoga teacher, and trauma therapist, she brings a unique, holistic approach that connects outdoor movement with inner awareness and wellbeing.
Originally trained in fine arts in Prague, Lenka developed a strong sensitivity to atmosphere and environment, which today shapes the way she designs her tours. Her journeys focus not only on destinations, but on the quality of experience—inviting participants to slow down, perceive more deeply, and connect with nature in a meaningful way.
Her connection to travel began early through her family background in tourism, and later expanded during more than ten years living in England. This international experience allows her to work naturally with both Czech and global clients.
Alongside guiding, Lenka works as a trauma therapist through her project Healing Trauma, where she supports individuals in processing stress and reconnecting with inner balance. This therapeutic background influences her work with groups, creating a safe, grounded, and supportive environment.
A significant part of her journey is her long-term connection to India and Ayurveda. Through her project, she organizes and leads Ayurvedic retreats, including traditional Panchakarma programs. These experiences have deepened her understanding of the connection between body, mind, and environment.
For Lenka, nature is a space for regeneration, clarity, and reconnection. Her tours often include subtle elements such as mindful walking or moments of stillness, always adapted naturally to the group.
By combining her experience in art, therapy, yoga, and Ayurveda, Lenka creates journeys that are both grounding and enriching. Through her projects, she invites people to experience not just hiking, but a deeper connection to nature and themselves.
