Discover Cambodia as you navigate through winding jungle trails and the expansive waterways of the Mekong. There's an abundance of experiences to enjoy on bike rides, hikes, and kayaking trips. The stunning beauty, delicious cuisine, and rich culture of Cambodia are even more enjoyable when paired with outdoor escapades.

Our journey begins in Phnom Penh, where we’ll visit significant monuments that reflect Cambodia’s difficult history. We'll also meet a host family on a Mekong River island. Next, we'll observe Irrawaddy dolphins and go on a kayaking adventure through breathtaking flooded forests.

We’ll wrap up our expedition at the magnificent temples of Angkor, exploring the enchanting jungle temples scattered throughout this ancient landscape.

Tour provider's comments

You’ll ride on a Trek Brand mountain bike, the Marlin 5 that’s been designed to be both comfortable and durable. This bike is a trail-worthy daily rider that’s perfectly suited for everyday adventures, on and off the trail. We have a full range of bike sizes available for you to choose from, and the helmet is also included in your tour.

This trip is rated as Activity Level "Moderate" and provides an ideal blend of physical activity and exploration that is perfect for those with an intermediate level of fitness. It will be an incredible chance to explore the area while pushing yourself beyond your limits with some thrilling adventure activities.

Terrain
The terrain is varied, mainly flat, and characterized by a mixture of tarmac roads and single dirt lanes passing through the countryside and the Angkor complex. We cycle on backroads with lovely open landscapes, and there are plenty of stops to rest or take photos. Our guides can also easily accommodate riders who seek a shorter ride with a boost in the van.

Bike and Personal Equipment
We strongly recommend that you ride a mountain bike for our trips that involve asphalt, dirt, and backroads, some of which are sandy and rocky. If you are much more comfortable with your own stuff, we highly suggest bringing items such as pedals, saddles, helmets, and water bottles. Our mechanic will make adjustments to your bikes and personal belongings.

Safety
We recommend you wear a helmet on all our biking adventures. This is non-negotiable. If you do not wear a helmet, you will not be allowed to cycle. Your tour guide is trained in first aid and emergency rescue, but to a large degree, you must be responsible for your own safety while riding.

Visa and Passport

Visitors to Cambodia require a passport to enter the country, and all travelers must hold a passport with validity for 6 months after their planned exit from Cambodia.

Citizens of the UK, EU countries, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the United States, and almost all other nationalities will require a visa to visit Cambodia. Non-UK residents should check with the Cambodian Embassy in their country of residence for the most up-to-date information. Most nationalities can get a visa on arrival at Phnom Penh and Siem Reap international airports without prior registration. A visa is issued on arrival for most nationalities for US $30/pax, and the visa has a one-month validity. You need to pay in cash and in US dollars and provide two recent, identical passport photographs.
