Inspired by guests who kept telling us they’d happily return just for the food and wine, this tour was designed with a stronger focus on the flavours of the Fleurieu Peninsula and gentler walking days. It’s a journey where walking, dining, and place are given equal attention, allowing you to enjoy the region without rushing through it.

Over four days, you’ll explore selected highlights of Deep Creek National Park and some of the most scenic sections of the Heysen Trail, with walks kept short and rewarding. Expect coastal paths leading to secluded beaches, forest tracks that open onto wide ocean views, and visits to waterfalls hidden deep in sheltered gullies. Morning walks are followed by long lunches, relaxed afternoons, and time to truly absorb the landscape.

Food and wine shape each day. You’ll enjoy a gourmet lunch by Myponga Reservoir, themed dinners paired with local wines, a hands-on cooking demonstration with the resident chef, and a carefully curated degustation in the McLaren Vale wine region. Evenings are spent back at the same comfortable homestead, where you unpack once and settle in. This is Fleurieu at its most generous — a place to slow down, walk thoughtfully, eat well, and let the days linger. Come and experience the peninsula the way it deserves to be enjoyed!
