Travel to Laguna del Diamante Natural Reserve

Trek to Camp I
Morning Trek: After a hearty breakfast, begin the journey to Camp I at 3,800m (12,467 ft). Over the course of approximately six hours, trek through striking volcanic terrain with constant, breathtaking views of Laguna del Diamante and the towering peaks of the Andes.
Overnight at Camp I: Arrive at Camp I and settle in for the night, surrounded by crisp mountain air. As night falls, marvel at the crystal-clear sky filled with countless stars, a perfect end to an unforgettable day.
Day 4
Trek to Camp II
Trek to Camp II: After breakfast, we’ll continue the ascent, trekking for about 5 hours to reach Camp II, situated at 4,450m (14,600 ft). The terrain becomes more rugged as we gain altitude, but the views of the volcanic landscape and glacial lake below make the effort worthwhile.
Overnight at Camp II: We’ll set up camp here, enjoying the stunningly isolated scenery and preparing for the summit push.

Summit Day
Early Morning Ascent: Begin your summit trek under the stars, aiming to reach the peak of Maipo Volcano at 5,323m (17,270 ft). This challenging climb, taking 8 to 10 hours, will push your limits while offering spectacular views as the sun rises over the Andes.

What happens if the weather turns bad?
