Tour provider's comments

A ski touring journey with six full touring days, averaging 4-6 hours of uphill activity daily and elevation gains of 800 to 1,200 meters per day. Routes are chosen for optimal snow conditions and safety, with mostly open terrain but also occasional forested sections. No technical skills (e.g., glacier or ropework) are required, though participants should have a solid base of ski touring experience and good physical fitness.

For treks in mountainous and alpine terrain fitness is important and previous trekking experience recommended. It is not vital as long you are confident of your physical condition and surefootedness. Prepare to endure poor weather and to navigate rocky undefined routes, remoteness can also play a part.
