The Huchuy Qosqo trek is an excellent choice for those seeking a gentle hiking path to Machu Picchu. This route is situated in the Sacred Valley and begins with a hotel pickup, followed by transportation to the Saqsayhuaman archaeological park, where the trek starts. On the first day, you'll traverse from Cusco Valley to the renowned Sacred Valley and spend the night at the Huchuy Qosqo Inca site, also known as "small Cusco." The following morning, you'll descend to the valley floor, where transportation will be waiting to take you to the train station.

After a train journey, you'll arrive in Aguas Calientes and spend the night in a hotel there. The final day is dedicated to visiting Machu Picchu.

Route details

First of all, we will pick you up from your hotel at around 6:30 am. This trip combines the stunning, peaceful landscapes and Inca archeology that is evident from the start.
First, we are going to go into the Sacred Valley, passing very traditional villages and meeting local people. You will begin to understand why it was the ‘sacred’ valley for the Incas.
After Lunch, we continue to visit the little-visited Inca site of Huchuy Qosqo trek. The site is spectacular not only for its Inca architecture but also for its position, overlooking the beautiful valley.
You will have plenty of time to enjoy the peacefulness of the location because we will have our camp here.

In case of booking cancellation the next policy applies. Tourists will receive a full amount they paid for the reservation in case they cancel more than 35 days in advance of the tour start date. In the event of cancellation within the period of 34 to 16 days before the tour start date - they are entitled to receive 50% of the booking amount. Cancelations made within 15 days before the tour starts will not be entitled to a refund.
