The Chilinji Pass Trek is one of the most secluded and stunning trekking paths in Pakistan. Over the course of 14 days, this journey takes you from the Ishkoman Valley, close to Gilgit, to the Chapursan Valley in Upper Hunza, traversing one of the least-explored areas of the Karakoram.
The trek presents an extraordinary experience through a variety of landscapes, ranging from high-altitude meadows and rugged mountains to the vast valleys along the Wakhan Corridor, situated near the borders of Afghanistan and Tajikistan. During your journey, you'll meet local nomads who continue to use ancient trade routes, bringing their yaks, sheep, and goats to Chapursan Valley to trade for essentials like sugar, tea, and cigarettes.
This expedition blends remote trekking, alpine camping, and cultural exploration. With 7 nights spent in tents and 6 nights in hotels, trekkers enjoy both the untamed beauty of the Karakoram and the warm hospitality of local communities.
