Reaching Everest Base Camp at 17,598 feet (5,364 meters) is achievable for diverse fitness levels. The 12-day trek covers 80 miles (130 km) round trip from Lukla.

The 15-day package includes full-board during the trek, 3-star hotel stays in Kathmandu, an English-speaking guide, and a free trekking map.

Route details

Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,265ft)

Welcome to Nepal. Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be met outside the luggage hall and transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu in a private vehicle. The accommodation will be a 3-star standard hotel in Thamel.

Assistance will be provided with hotel check-in formalities. The rest of the day can be spent resting or exploring the vibrant streets of Thamel, which offers a range of restaurants serving both Nepali and Western cuisine.

If your flight arrives before noon, an orientation meeting will be held to introduce you to your guide, check equipment, provide a trek briefing, and settle any outstanding payments. If your flight arrives later, the meeting will be scheduled for the next day. Overnight in Kathmandu.

  • your travel insurance covers helicopter evacuation over 5000m, trip cancellation, and treatment costs caused by Covid-19 or any other unforeseen illness/disease;
  • meals and accommodation in Kathmandu in case of early return from the trek;
  • any other extended trips and accommodation;
  • tip (as an appreciation) to the service providers.

It's important to know

Cancellation of booking

In case of booking cancellation the next policy applies. Tourists will receive a full amount they paid for the reservation in case they cancel more than 35 days in advance of the tour start date. In the event of cancellation within the period of 34 to 16 days before the tour start date - they are entitled to receive 50% of the booking amount. Cancelations made within 15 days before the tour starts will not be entitled to a refund.
