Segment 1: Kotor to Perast
Our journey starts as we cycle along the scenic coastal road that follows the shores of Boka Bay. Heading north, we encounter charming villages, lush landscapes, and majestic mountains that frame the bay's blue waters. Along the way, we might spot historic stone churches, olive groves, and traditional houses scattered throughout the scenery. After a relaxed ride, we reach the delightful town of Perast, celebrated for its Baroque architecture and two small islands—Our Lady of the Rocks and St. George. Here, we can wander through the town’s cobblestone streets, visit historical sites, and enjoy panoramic views of the bay from the waterfront promenade.
Segment 2: Perast to Risan
We then continue our ride to Risan, situated on Boka Bay's northeastern shore. This segment of the route takes us through peaceful coastal scenery with sweeping views of the bay and surrounding mountains. Upon arriving in Risan, we have the opportunity to explore archaeological sites, including the ancient Roman mosaics of the Villa Urbana, which date back to the 2nd century AD. We can also take a moment to relax and savor a delicious meal at a waterfront restaurant, featuring fresh seafood and local dishes.
Segment 3: Risan to Tivat
The final stretch of our tour leads us southward along Boka Bay's eastern shoreline towards the lively town of Tivat. This leg offers breathtaking views of the bay, with sailboats gliding across the sparkling waters and the rugged peaks of Mount Vrmac in the background. Once in Tivat, you can explore the city, visit cultural attractions, or simply unwind by the waterfront before wrapping up our e-bike adventure.
