The South India Coast to Coast Cycling Tour is one of the most diverse cycling journeys in India, connecting the Arabian Sea in Kerala with the Bay of Bengal in Tamil Nadu. Over 14 days, you cycle through palm-lined beaches, tranquil backwaters, tea plantations, mountain passes, temple towns and colonial coastal villages.
Starting in Fort Kochi, the ride follows Kerala’s coastline to Marari Beach and the backwaters of Alleppey, before climbing into the Western Ghats. Continue through the spice plantations of Vagamon and Thekkady, then descend into Tamil Nadu’s cultural heartland to explore Madurai, Chettinadu, and Thanjavur.
The journey continues along the Cauvery delta, coastal fishing villages and historic settlements including Tranquebar and Pondicherry, before finishing at the ancient shore temples of Mahabalipuram.
This tour blends cycling, culture, cuisine and landscapes into one unforgettable South India adventure.
