Day 1
Chora – Hozoviotissa Monastery – Kapsala – Asfontylitis – Aegiali Port

Distance: 13 km | Duration: 4–5 hrs
Follow the historic “Palia Strata” (old path), once the lifeline connecting Chora to Aegiali. Starting from picturesque Chora, the trail passes the iconic Hozoviotissa Monastery, continues to Kapsala with its chapels and Byzantine ruins, and then reaches Asfontylitis, an ancient rural settlement with stone wells, rock carvings, and the church of St. Nicholas. The hike ends via Oxo Meria and Upper Potamos down to Aegiali port.
