Travel Distance: 124 km (2 hours 44 minutes)
The day begins at 09:00 when the guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel in Kutaisi. You will head north to the Kinchkha Waterfall, a stunning three-tiered cascade located in the Okatse River gorge at an elevation of 843 meters. After a brief walk to appreciate the scenery, you'll continue on to the visitor center.
From the visitor center, you'll embark on a 2 km walk to the Okatse Canyon trail, which loops through the Dadiani Historical Forest (a hanging trail at 780 meters). This trek takes approximately 2 hours and leads to an observation deck offering breathtaking views.
Next, you'll drive for about an hour to reach the Prometheus Caves in Kumistavi village. This karst cave system is the largest and most beautiful in Georgia, featuring 1300 meters of accessible pathways. Inside, you'll find uniquely shaped stalactites and stalagmites, as well as underground lakes and rivers. If conditions permit, you can take a boat ride at the end of the tour and navigate outside the caves.
In the evening, you'll return to your hotel in Kutaisi.
