There’s something special about being in the forest as the day starts to fade — the air gets cooler, the light softens, and suddenly every sound feels louder and closer. That’s when the wildlife in Porkkala becomes easier to spot, and when your moose-watching adventure really starts.
After a short drive from Helsinki, we’ll settle by a small campfire and enjoy warm berry juice and simple Finnish snacks. Your guide will chat with you about the animals living in the area and what signs to look for. When we’re ready, we’ll head out along quiet forest roads and open clearings, stopping whenever we see movement. With binoculars provided, you’ll have a great chance of spotting moose in the wild, along with other animals that might appear if we’re lucky.
Join us for an evening walk-and-watch adventure through Porkkala’s wilderness—an unforgettable glimpse into Finland’s wild side!
