The Napo Wildlife Center eco-lodge, located in the Ecuadorian Amazon, in the Yasuni National Park, was carefully constructed and designed by the indigenous Añangu community. Built by the indigenous natives of Añangu -Kichua community- the cabins are very comfortable and the site is really exclusive thanks in particular to its low capacity (only 16 private cabins). The cabins are decorated with furniture made from local wood and are fully equipped with a bathroom, ventilation, electricity and a balcony overlooking the Añangu lagoon.
The Napo Wildlife Center is a good example of eco-tourism projects. The community has invested in a unique environmental system that is possibly the best and most advanced in the Ecuadorian Amazon. All wastewater is treated to keep the marshes clean. In addition, energy is produced by solar panels which is an efficient system to limit the environmental impact.
