Tour provider's comments

You’ll ride on a Trek Brand mountain bike, the Marlin 5 that’s been designed to be both comfortable and durable. This bike is a trail-worthy daily rider that’s perfectly suited for everyday adventures, on and off the trail. We have a full range of bike sizes available for you to choose from, and the helmet is also included in your tour.

This trip is rated Activity Level “Leisure” and it's suitable for those who enjoy a good move on a bike and feel comfortable while on the ride. You used to ride your bike on a regular basis, to commute to work, or just for fun.

There are 3 cycling days, and riders are expected to cover an average distance of 25-30 km (16-19 miles) per day with up to 95 percent support from vehicle transportation. The terrain is varied, mainly flat, and characterized by a mixture of tarmac roads and single dirt lanes passing through the countryside and the Angkor complex. We cycle on backroads with lovely open landscapes, and there are plenty of stops to rest or take photos. Our guides can also easily accommodate riders who seek a shorter ride with a boost in the van.

Bike & Personal Equipment
We strongly recommend that you ride a mountain bike for our trips that involve asphalt, dirt, and backroads, some of which are sandy and rocky. If you are much more comfortable with your own stuff, we highly suggest bringing items such as pedals, saddles, helmets, and water bottles. Our mechanic will make adjustments to your bikes and personal belongings.

Safety
We recommend you wear a helmet on all our biking adventures. This is non-negotiable. If you do not wear a helmet, you will not be allowed to cycle. Your tour guide is trained in first aid and emergency rescue, but to a large degree, you must be responsible for your own safety while riding.

Central Corner d’Angkor 4*

Central Corner d’Angkor is located in the heart of Siem Reap, and it is the perfect spot to kick back and experience the best that this city has to offer. This hotel features a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, and access to the garden and terrace. In addition to a terrace and a garden, you can connect to free in-room WiFi.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The pool area is a private oasis that leads off from the living areas and is the perfect place for a quiet moment of peace. Though it is small, there are always only a few people around to make it feel nicely secluded.

It's important to know

Visa and Passport

Visitors to Cambodia require a passport to enter the country, and all travelers must hold a passport with validity for 6 months after their planned exit from Cambodia.

Citizens of the UK, EU countries, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the United States, and almost all other nationalities will require a visa to visit Cambodia. Non-UK residents should check with the Cambodian Embassy in their country of residence for the most up-to-date information. Most nationalities can get a visa on arrival at Phnom Penh and Siem Reap international airports without prior registration. A visa is issued on arrival for most nationalities for US $30/pax, and the visa has a one-month validity. You need to pay in cash and in US dollars and provide two recent, identical passport photographs.
