Route details

Your afternoon tour of the Angkor sunset starts at our shop and takes you through the scenic countryside of Siem Reap, crossing the Siem Reap River. You'll then follow a less-traveled path that leads behind Angkor Wat, offering a serene and unobstructed view of this historically and religiously significant site for many Cambodians.

After a quick break for cold water, we'll continue our journey, avoiding the crowds leaving Angkor Park. Instead, we'll navigate narrow lanes through beautiful rice fields and small historical family plots, where life has remained unchanged for generations. As we get closer to the temples, we’ll use park roads and trails to explore this remarkable historic area from a unique perspective.

To wrap up the evening, we'll enjoy a private Dragon Boat cruise along an ancient waterway, savoring local delicacies and refreshments while taking in a stunning sunset. Your support vehicle will be ready to take you back to your hotel in Siem Reap around 6:30 pm.

This bike is a trail-worthy daily rider that’s perfectly suited for everyday adventures, on and off the trail. We have a full range of bike sizes available for you to choose from, and the helmet is also included in your tour.

While all of our tours maintain a leisurely pace, we want our guests to have fun and be safe, so being able to ride a bike is paramount.

Our tour is perfect for novice bike riders or those that haven’t been on a bike in years, You should have average balance, be able to start and stop comfortably, and be familiar with hand brakes. We will be riding on bike lanes, through dirt roads, and occasionally in traffic. Safety is our number one priority, but confidence in yourself is the first step to overall group safety.

If you’re not sure how you’ll fare, we invite you to come to our office about 30 minutes prior to your tour start time to try the bikes.
