Route details
We depart Adelaide around 7:30am and head north through the scenic Clare Valley wine region. Our first stop is Auburn for morning tea and a tour briefing, before continuing on to the historic town of Quorn for lunch.
In the afternoon, we enjoy a short walk at Death Rock and the Kanyaka Station Ruins. This 3.5km trail introduces us to the region’s cultural and colonial past. The striking 7-metre-high quartzite formation and permanent waterhole hold deep Aboriginal significance, while the ruins of the former station tell the story of early European settlement.
We then continue to Rawnsley Park Station, where we’ll settle into our accommodation. The evening includes nibbles by the campfire and a two-course dinner prepared by your guides.
